From two inspiring musicians who pride themselves on their versatility and ability to change direction like the wind with the strum of a chord, Stone’s Throw is a musical experience not to be missed. Ciaran and Charlie share a labyrinth of musicality both as individuals and as a duo. Their careers have taken them to all corners of the performing arts, including performances at Buckingham Palace, Opera Holland Park, The Royal Albert Hall and numerous television appearances. Hailing from the city of Dublin, Ciaran Philips was raised in the UK by Irish parents, both professional Irish folk musicians. Ciaran has performed all around the world on Land and on sea, both as a singer, guitarist and drummer. Ciaran has also served on board ships as a cruise director. Ciaran has been acclaimed by many for his purity of tone as a singer and charming personality in performance. Born and raised in Greater London, Charlie Cole studied violin performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester and has worked with notable musicians and groups spanning many genres including Alexander and Albert Markov, Ministry of Sound and various jazz musicians. Charlie’s career has taken him all over the world on ships, and on tour in multiple locations.
