Stevie Bagpipes

I'm Steve Christie better known as Stevie Bagpipes, originally from Edinburgh but now living in the North East of England. I started playing the Bagpipes aged twelve and in my younger years I was an award winning Solo Piper and Band Member competing at the highest level in the world of Bagpiping. I have played for and had affiliation with numerous bands over the years, The West Yorkshire Fire Service Pipe Band, The West Yorkshire Police Pipe Band and The Guards Depot Piping School to name a few. I also have the privileged of being the Official Professional Highland Piper for the Icon Bamburgh Castle and have played there for Public and Private events for the owners of the Castle. I was honored to be the Lone Piper at the Castle for the weekend celebrations of the Late Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee. Additionally I also played for King Charles the III Coronation Celebrations their back in May 2023. I am the Only Registered Highland Piper recommended by "The Wedding Guide UK" and was featured in their latest Magazine. Additionally I am the only Professional Highland Piper that has been nominated for "The North of England Wedding Awards 2023" I am available for Weddings, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties and all other Special Occasion worthy of celebrating as well as Corporate and Business Events and Funerals. As previously stated I am based in the North East of England but also accept bookings from across the UK and Southern Ireland as well as international Bookings.
