Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I get great feedback on the wide variety of genres and eras I can perform. People also love being able to request songs while I'm performing - I'll also give nearly anything a go. Some events have ended up being mostly request, which is great fun!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I have performed as some very high profile events and venues including the Henley Festival, Royal Ascot, Badmington Horse Trials and at various resorts across Europe.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem, just let us know the new timings and we'll try and accommodate. Some points to note however: if the time changes require us to arrive much earlier, or finish later, then these additional hours are charged. If the times change significantly, then it is possible one of the musicians cannot make the new time, and so a trusted stand-in will be used.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course! If you have a Spotify playlist, please share it with us before the event and we'll make sure we download to our equipment, freeing up your phone and making it work without an internet connection (particularly important if the gig is in the middle of nowhere!)

How much time do you need to set up?

For a typical solo or duo gig, setup is 1 hour. Trio and 4-piece acts are typically 1.5 hours, for larger events with larger sound and lighting, setup is up to 3 hours. Please take this into account if you need the acts setup and sound checked before guest arrival. For example, for a large party that starts at 7pm, the band would need to be booked from 4

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

If you have some favourites, please let us know and we'll incorporate them. However, the set is always customised live on the night while we are performing, based on the feedback and response form the crowed. Even when we do start from a list, we always deviate if the crowd responds better to one genre or era.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, we'll bring everything we need. If the venue has temporary staging or a dancefloor, these need to be constructed before we arrive.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Most probably yes! Depending on the song's complexity and available time before the event, we'll try and learn new tracks; we're always keen to expand our repertoire!
