I first started out on Stars In thier Eyes TV Show In the mid 90s singing as Harry Connick Jr and have been singing songs from the Great American songbook of Jazz Swing Standards as a solo Vocalist with backing tracks and sometimes when required I've sung as a Guest Vocalist for Trios, and a Big Band. I have also worked as a singing voice over artist for the TNT Movie Network where I sang voice over songs on promotion videos for thier classic Hollywood movie channel. I have performed outside for a local platinum Jubilee Party recently as well as many other Indoor venues. I also have two original Songs that I wrote and are on a few music streaming platforms Including You Tube and have performed my own my music live too. I also my own Jazz/Swing Band now thats recently been formed and named " the Steve Dawson Swingtet consisting of vocals, Piano, Bass, Sax and Drums and we have two local gigs booked from Wednesday April 5th and 12th where I'll have videos then to share of the band performing live, with my band as well.singing Jazz Swing easy listening standards and then I can place myself as a solo performer or with my backing tracks and band as well performingthe same style of Jazz Swing Music. I have been performing for many years now singing songs from the likes Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett and Dean Martin as well songs from Harry Connick Jr and Michael Buble for venues and private parties small or large and small and I can also perform with my new band as well, consisting of Piano, Bass, Sax and Drums. All In the Jazz Swing style singing abd playing classic great song standard from the Big Band swing era In that style as I do as a solo Vocalist too. I can sing more smoother lighter sounding Jazz/Swing with my new backing Quartet as well If that's what your event needs. I'm very professional and engaging and entertaining and even dance and move around on stage as I also used to be a professional, Latin American and Ballroom competitive dancer and a dance teacher as well. I always look smart and well presented In a suit on stage thats fitting for that kind of Jazz/Swing music and I live In Kingston and I'm always willing to travel for the required opportunity to perform live.
