Playing at weddings is such a huge honour and I love doing it. The harp creates a magical atmosphere from the moment your guests arrive. Its remarkable appearance and enchanting sound is the perfect addition to your ceremony, Drink's Reception, or Wedding Breakfast. As a graduate of the acclaimed Royal Northern College of Music, I have a passion for performing music to the highest standard. Based in East Yorkshire, I have a wealth of experience playing at weddings across the country and absolutely love being a part of such a special occasion! My repertoire includes pop, classical, Disney, film, traditional and songs from musicals. Having arranged and transcribed nearly all my repertoire, the music you will hear is utterly unique. I also arrange music specifically for the aisle entrance to ensure the perfect timing for when you walk down the aisle. I will work with you directly to create the perfect package for your day and help select a bespoke playlist that reflects you as a couple. I can also arrange special requests, making your day personal to you.

I hired Steph for my sister's wedding after meeting her at a wedding fayre in Beverley. She was very easy to talk to from the first meeting and came and did the job without any fuss! Hearing her play my sister and partner down the isle was magical, I haven't found anything since that has left me with goosebumps. Fantastic player and I will be booking her again for my wedding (when I finally propose!).

We hired Stephanie to perform at our wedding this May at Nunsmere Hall in Nantwich, after reviewing her repertoire and catalog online. To say she surpassed all of our hopes and dreams is an understatement! As myself being the lucky man on the day, the combination of seeing my beautiful wife walk down the aisle serenaded by Stephanie’s wonderful harp performance brought me to tears (Which is a big deal, as I was adamant this would not happen!). Stephanie’s music made our special day unforgettable and we could not recommend her more. On behalf of myself and my new bride, thank you so much Stephanie!!!!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I play songs that people know in a different way, creating an atmospheric and relaxing ambience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed across the country including Castles, Stately Homes, Art Galleries, Barns and the local pub.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My music is Bridgerton inspired, popular well-known songs in a classical style.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I did a UK tour with Gary Numan.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate the changes.

How much time do you need to set up?

I will arrive 1 hour before I am due to start playing to set up, tune the harp and warm-up.

Is the transport of your harp included in your quote?

All travel costs are included in the price.

Do you need any equipment provided to play outdoors?

I provide a parasol to protect from the sun and bring a mat for the ground. My amp is battery powered so I don't need electricity. Outdoor events can difficult if it's particularly windy or threatening to rain. In these circumstances, I will have to make a decision as to whether it is safe for my instrument to be outside.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

You can absolutely pick songs from my playlist, I recommend choosing 12-15 per hour. For ceremonies, a song/songs for the aisle, 2 for the register and 1 for your exit.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I learn 1 song free of charge. There is a fee for extra songs.
