The inception of Starlight Jazz Band arose from a shared passion for both traditional jazz standards and contemporary compositions. Our ensemble provides a variety of lineups, spanning from duos to quintets, consistently featuring the nation's most skilled and committed jazz musicians. The three core members of this band: Dan, Asaph, and Torin graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with First Class honours and now work across the UK and Europe as professional musicians. Driven by a deep passion for crafting unforgettable musical moments, Our goal is to make your event as memorable and special as possible!

On the 20th of October 2023 I hired the Starlight Jazz Band to provide entertainment for a prestige awards ceremony held at the Molinuex Stadium Wolverhampton. From the booking process to delivering a mesmerising genre of upbeat Jazz performance, all the guests loved the performance. What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are flexible, so if your timings change, just let us know!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can play similar music before and between our sets and we don't charge an additional fee for this service, if you would like this service just drop us a message to let us know.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up 1 hour before the performance time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All equipment needed for the band is included in the quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We will play two special request songs for free, after that, there is a fee of £30 for each special request song, to take rehearsal time into account.
