I do love to sing a tune! And it can be from any genre too! I love the mellow sounds of Ella Fitzgerald and Dusty Springfield through to Norah Jones and Rumer. But I also love to belt out a dance track! Anything from motown to 80's to modern day dance music! I typically perform a mixed set according to event type and venue, but I can also tailor the music to my customers requirements. In the past I have put together music from the 40's and wartime, 50's & 60's, 70's and motown, and 80's & 90's. My performing experience started in 2009 as lead singer of function band Innervision. We played at many gorgeous weddings accross Hants, Wilts and Dorset in locations ranging from village halls to marquees and large hotels. After two years with those guys I went solo and haven't looked back (although I do miss them sometimes!!). At weddings I can be found in the background softly crooning while guests are quaffing champagne and having photos taken (I LOVE WEDDINGS!!), which is a similar performance style to my work in restaurants. At the complete other end of the spectrum I can be found singing loudly and proudly at birthday and engagement parties (of all ages), and in pubs and social clubs. I am so lucky to have performed at tiny gatherings in peoples back gardens (singing on the patio in the setting sun with the wind blowing in my hair) as well as stoking up a dance fever for the staff from Virgin, including The Branson family, at a (pretty posh) function in London, care of VW Events. I don't 'go it alone' all the time though. I am extremely fortunate to know and perform with other artists and musicians in the area: Olu Shola, Lou Taylor, Ebonie G, Callan Jones, Groove Breakers to name but a few. I am also hired by agencies such as Entertainment Boutique, John Bedford Entertainments, Entertainment Scene, and Portsmouth Party Hire and Events. Singing is my passion.
