Spotlight Party Plus did a superb job for our wedding evening; I highly recommend them. Ahead of the date, they were the ideal communicators - very quick to respond, accommodating to different ideas and requests, with nothing too much trouble. They shared sample playlists ahead of time to help get our input easily. Max also had a quick phone call with me to talk through final details. On the day, Max was kind enough to arrive extra early (agreed in advance) and set up the PA system, so that we could have a microphone for the speeches during dinner. The full band were on time and managed all their logistics very professionally. The music itself was top-notch; they read the room perfectly, and the dance floor was full for all 4 hours of our evening. Naomi did a mix of violin and singing (both great). Max played bongos, and even let guests have a go playing them with his drumsticks. Both were out and about on the dance floor and brought a great energy to the room. The DJ did a great job keeping the energy going even between the periods with live instruments. Thank you very much SPP - you were everything we were hoping for for our big day!

A brilliant duo. Great tunes, brilliant interaction with the guests and they even got involved with our Africa theme. They are brilliant musicians too. Highly recommend them.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

High energy! We love to get a dance floor full and create the best party atmosphere. Live musicians partying on the dance floor coupled with top DJ's playing the best tunes is a sure winner!

We are inspired by so many artists from all genres - from dance floor idols like Calvin Harris & Sigala, to pop legends like Abba & Earth, Wind & Fire, our eclectic taste means there is something to suit everyone!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard line up is DJ + Electric Violin + Bongo/Percussion player. Additional players including saxophone and singer can be added on request.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always aim to be as flexible as possible to make sure your event runs perfectly. If you're timings change, please let us know as soon as possible and we will aim to accommodate as much as we can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes - most of our packages include a live DJ whose sets can be extended on request.

How much time do you need to set up?

This can vary per event due to different requirements, and can be discussed on booking, but on average we will arrive from 2 or more hours before the event starts to set up and perform any necessary sound checks.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, that is one of our highlights! Our live musicians always roam around and interact with guests, creating an amazing fun atmosphere! It's our favourite part!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We love to work collaboratively with our clients on their playlists, letting them choose songs from our repertoire list whilst also advising on what will work best from our experience.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA system and music equipment is included in the quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes - all of our packages come with 3 new song requests in the price.
