Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
While we can't absolutely guarantee that we will have the same singers (or other musicians) as in the video, we have three vocalists in our line up and we're never going to be more than short of one at a time in case of illness etc. In fact only two of the girls feature in our promo video as the third has only recently joined us.
Do you have different line-up options?
Yes. The backline of bass, drums, guitar and keys is the basic band. Plus two vocalists forms the small line-up Options are: - third vocalist - alto sax & trumpet - baritone sax added to horn section So: 6,7,8,9,10-piece band
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We're very relaxed about timings - weddings never quite run to time and other functions can require a bit of flexibility too. We may charge when we have to be present and set up in advance of the party. End times are generally set by the venue rather than by us so can be quite rigid.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
A partial yes is the answer to that. We suggest that the client compiles there own choice playlist on a laptop or iPad which we can then patch through our PA system. This gives you the best of both worlds where you choose the songs but our powerful mixing desk and monitors provide the sound. We have all the necessary connectors and leads.
How much time do you need to set up?
Generally speaking, 45 minutes is sufficient time for us to set up. Proximity between where we unload and the performance area are important here. Having unloaded, we can move our cars to a designated area if required.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
We are always happy to learn your choice of First Dance but for the rest we prefer the running order to remain in our hands so that we can adjust it on the fly in keeping with the vibe of the party. Any special 'hates' can of course be avoided!
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, absolutely. Our standard lighting rig illuminates the band and dance floor areas but we have an extensive lighting range to meet specific needs. For example, we have programmable LED uplighters which are brilliant for marquee walls, some weatherproof outdoor lighting programmable LED fixtures and so on. Feel free to get in touch for more info.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes, we should enjoy learning your choice of First Dance and feel free to ask for other songs too which may be in our repertoire but not necessarily ones which we currently perform
What do your clients love most about your performances?
We're very good at what we do - musically and visually we provide top class entertainment and excellent engagement with audiences. We also pride ourselves on being utterly reliable and easy to work with, with an ability to fit in seamlessly with caterers, venue personnel etc. to provide a calm and enjoyable evening for all the guests and their hosts.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have performed at countless well-known stately home wedding venues in London and the south east.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
An A to Z of soul and funk, really.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
We played for a Downton star at her wedding in Blenheim Palace.
