Soul Food is a brand new function band based in and around Manchester and the North West, available to perform at weddings and other function events. The group was established in August 2019, comprising entirely of recent graduates from the University of Salford. Soul Food specialises in Live Band Karaoke, which includes multiple genres and tailored set lists plus song requests. We also provide a wide selection of performance options to suit any occasion, featuring a variety of musical genres, set list timings and specialist technology, including sound and lighting equipment.

We used SoulFood to play at our works Christmas party and they did not disappoint! They had everyone up dancing and played a really good variety of songs to suit everyone's tastes. Would 100% recommend!

We booked Soul Food Music for our Quarterly Team celebrations, the band were fabulous and brought lots of energy into the room. I had lots of people telling me how great the band were and how much they enjoyed the evening! I would highly recommend booking Soul Food again for future work events 😊

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We aim to make our band as accurate as we can to those that are in the videos, we have a wide range of successful 'dep' musicians in case a band member is ill or unavailable on the day. We will always strive to provide you with the highest quality performance we can!

Do you have different line-up options?

We have lots of different line-ups 4,5,6,7,8&9 Instrumentation: 2x Singer, Keys, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Trombone, Trumpet and Sax

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This is something that can 100% be arranged, please speak to us about this and we can provide additional quotes to meet the needs of your event!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course, Must and Mustn't plays are one of the areas we will always ask for as we want to make sure that your event is best it can be!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. Unless the venue you choose already has sound and lighting you prefer.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you.
