Soul of the City Gospel Choir was born in April 2019, out of a wholehearted love for black music – the funky rhythms, the soulfulness, the heart-bursting joy of it, and the fact that you can’t listen to it without dancing! This music contains joy and optimism that are so needed in these times. The choir perform sizzling high-energy sets which are thoroughly joy infused. Singing Gospel, Motown, Soul, Funk and Pop, the choir are on a mission to inspire audiences in the Southwest and beyond with their unique brand of musical juiciness. The choir stayed together on Zoom throughout lockdown and kept the faith learning new repertoire and trying to keep our spirits up. They created a fundraising video for NHS Heroes Support to buy essential PPE for frontline workers which raised over £10K, and were featured on BBC Spotlight news! The choir is available for Weddings, Funerals, Church services & special events. They will create an atmosphere of joy and celebration that will uplift your guests! Evening Party Band8 musicians

Get the party started with our amazing professional 8 piece band including vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, keys and brass! Your guests will be on their feet all night, dancing to our funky, soulful party favourites. We are competitively priced for the size of the. band and we this price includes PA, lights, travel, insurances and playlist in-between sets (we can also include a DJ set at the end if you like!)

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! We offer a number of different combinations and we are always happy to discuss what you would like for your event. 3 piece gospel choir + pianist 6 piece gospel choir + pianist 6 piece gospel choir + full band 10 piece gospel choir + full band Afternoon gospel singer + pianist Afternoon gospel trio + pianist Evening party band (including brass)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

As long as you have given us enough warning, this shouldn't be a problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can do this for you, no problem!

How much time do you need to set up?

Ideally 45 mins minimum, but we can discuss this with you.

Can you roam around while you perform?

The gospel vocalists can roam if you'd like them to, thats no problem!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, you pick songs from our setlist.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes ALL equipment is always included in all of our quotes.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can, but it is limited depending on your chosen package.
