Sorelli Ensemble

The Sorelli Ensemble are passionate about providing the highest quality of delivery and presentation in their performances. The girls pride themselves on their friendly demeanour and their ability to connect with their audiences and clients. Julia & Sara make up the Sorelli Ensemble - a Violin & Cello duo. They have been performing together since 2010 and soon after founded the Sorelli Ensemble - String Duo. They have a network of professional players that sometimes stand in for them depending on availability, this is confirmed at the time of the booking. Graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, Julia and Sara have performed throughout the UK and Europe, in venues including: the Royal Albert Hall, The Concertgebouwe, the Royal Festival Hall, St Martin in the Fields and the Birmingham Symphony Hall. They were the featured guest entertainers on Saga Cruises in 2013/2014 and most recently performed at The Proms. Aside from performing as The Sorelli String Duo, the girls enjoy a busy freelance career. They regularly play with professional orchestras such as; the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Swan, The BBC Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra. Julia has also appeared on TV, radio and pop recordings of which CDs were distributed worldwide. Her featured solo on the album 'Credere' was used as the accompaniment on the World Figure Skating Championships in 2011/2012. They take great pleasure in arranging their own music and can tailor their performances to suit the preferred styles of their clients. With a wide variety of musical repertoire ranging from Baroque to Classical and Folk to Film, they are able to present an entertaining programme to complement any occasion.
