Performing brings me so much joy, and I would love to share this with you and your guests. I can play a wide variety of classic covers, spanning across many genres and eras. These include tracks from artists such as Lana Del Rey, Tracy Chapman, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, John Martyn, Nina Simone, Elvis, The Kinks and many others. I can also play original indie-folk tracks. I am always open to requests and can compile a set list for you that creates the perfect atmosphere for your event. I have been songwriting since the age of four and I have been performing live regularly at weddings, pubs, galleries and parties since the age of 17. In June 2018, I released my debut single with Liverpool record label ‘Klee Music’, and since then have gone on to self release my original music, which has been featured on BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Radio Merseyside and BBC Radio Leeds, as well as performed at Sofar Sounds and Liverpool's Sound City. I was selected to be a part of the Sound City Artist training early 2022, as well as the Size? Artist Development Course. Do not hesitate to get in touch for any enquiries you may have. We were absolutely blown away by Sophie, both by her incredible talent and her lovely personality. She played and sang at our wedding for the ceremony and for a few hours afterwards and she was absolutely outstanding. Our guests all commented on how brilliant she was with such a beautiful and unique voice, and a couple of our friends who are also getting married soon asked how we found her. If it hadn’t been our wedding day, we both said that we would have very happily just sat and listened to Sophie play for the entirety of her set! Sophie was so accommodating, quick to respond and very helpful when planning the day, with lots of useful tips and recommendations for song choices. She was a real delight to work with and we wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Thank you so much Sophie, for making our wedding day so special, we could never have imagined it would be so wonderful with your help. You are exceptionally talented and we very much hope we get the opportunity to see you perform again!

Sophie played two 30 minute sets at my 60th Birthday party and her sound and style was perfect. She stepped in at the last minute after a cancellation, and despite short notice, she fitted right in and was a pleasure to work with. Her performance went down really well with everybody there and I would recommend her without hesitation.

Review Sophie played at our restaurant on New Year's eve and she was really great. The music was great and helped to provide a very good atmosphere for our customers. I can't thank Sophie enough for the beautiful music she contributed to my mum's funeral. We wanted to create a tribute to mum that authentically captured her life and Sophie did that perfectly. The vocals for Abide With Me alongside the choir and organ, contrasted Sophie's own emotional acoustic rendition of The Carpenters We've Only Just Begun and the finally Walk On By to end the service. I loved Sophie's sound from her videos but her performance on the day was beyond my expectations. Sophie, your understanding and interpretation of our idea will stay with us always, just beautiful. Mum would have absolutely loved it, that's the most I can say.

We booked Sophie for our wedding in The Lake District 11.07.2024 and we're so glad that we did, her voice is truly incredible. Sophie learnt a particular song (Foo Fighters - Everlong)which we had requested and she put her own spin on it and it was amazing. Everyone at our wedding was saying how beautiful she sang and how she absolutely made the day. For signing the register we requested Sophie sang her own song “Sunny” and it was so fitting. Sophie you are the sweetest girl and bring such a relaxed vibe. If you book Sophie for your wedding or event I promise you will not be dissapointed. Thank you Sophie!

Yes! I can play music through my amp between sets. Let me know if you would like this and I'll sort it out for you.

How much time do you need to set up?

It will take me only 10 minutes to set up, but I'll arrive earlier to assure I'm there in plenty of time.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes! I will bring everything I need to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Feel free to send me any special requests. If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If not, I am able to sing a diverse range of styles so I will most probably be able to learn it for you. I may have to charge a small extra fee to account for rehearsal time.
