Sophie Westover

My musical journey began in secondary school, I would rush home every day with the craving to play my instrument. After leaving school at sixteen, I completed my college course in music performance, where I learned to play within bands and songwriting. My music education continued for another three years at BIMM University London studying Bass Performance and Music Production. During this time, I excelled in the session role and played with as many artists and bands as possible. Performing multiple times a week at venues all across London. Currently, I am studying music theory at home whilst working as a sound engineer, to work in the West End as a member of a pit band or as a performer on a cruise line. My experience ranges in recording and writing for film and TV, writing for an original rock band, supporting singers/ artists on stage, and function events including weddings. The biggest highlight of my career took place in August 2023 when I traveled to Cork in Ireland and played my first major festival alongside artists such as Two Door Cinema Club, Raye, and many more.
