Sophie was the perfect professional. She communicated well before the performance to make sure that she had all of the information she needed. Arrived early to ensure that she was set up on time and her singing was flawless. Everyone was asking where we had booked her from and could not believe how young she is to have such a mature voice. Well done Sophie and good luck with your future career!!

"I have known Sophie since she was about 13 years old. Even at that young age Sophie was an amazing entertainer who relentlessly performed to raise money and awareness for so many charities and this kindness still plays a major part in Sophie's performances today. I have since worked with Sophie on many events. Sophie is very talented, has a wonderful stage presence and is so versatile. Her performances cover so many genres and audiences never want her to leave the stage! Would highly recommend Sophie to anyone who wants a truly professional top class performer who will give their event that wow factor."

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My Professionalism and performance etiquette is always complimented however clients, guests and audiences always comment on my personable approach and interludes between songs. I try to make each performance alive not only with beautiful music but by including my audience in the experience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed as a Soloist at The Royal Festival Hall, London and recently I was Guest Soloist at the beautiful Victoria Hall, Stoke. I have also performed at The Adelphi Theatre in London's West End in the one off charity performance of Singin' In The Rain. I will be returning to The Adelphi Theatre in November 2020 to perform in The Secret Garden.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have been very influenced by singers such as Dame Vera Lynn and Kathleen Ferrier in terms of vocal style and repertoire. I am also a huge fan of Karen Carpenter and the BeeGees. Their voices and music still influence so many artists today and their songs have stood the test of time.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I'd have to say my most high profile gig was performing as the Mezzo-Soprano soloist in Bernstein's Mass at the Royal Festival Hall, London. The production was conducted by Marin Alsop with vocal coaching by Mary King and direction by Jude Kelly OBE. Bernstein's children flew from the US to watch the shows in London and the whole experience was so special.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to accommodate my clients and ensure your event runs smoothly. Just let me know about any changes and we can work it out.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course! An iPod service is a really popular request and I offer this for free. I can make sure the playlist suits your event and/or theme.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up within 30 minutes including a quick test for sound and levels. If an iPod/Playlist service is requested I can arrive 1 hour before and as soon as my PA is set up I can provide that service to set the atmosphere for your event.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

My set lists are carefully selected to suit each individual client and their requirements and also to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. However I am very happy to discuss my sets lists and find something perfect for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I do! I use a small PA system with microphone and iPod.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If the song isn't included in my set lists there is still a chance that I know it! If not, I am very happy to learn new material. There is a fee of £10 per song to take into account rehearsal time, purchasing of tracks etc.
