I have been playing violin since I was 7 years old. Music performance doesn't run in the family, but a love of music does, so I was lucky to grow up listening to great music and was encouraged to make my own decisions about the music I liked as a teenager. I began playing viola at university, where there was a huge amount of ensemble playing going on. Here I gained experience behind the microphone, as well as in live performances, which led on to work with chart RnB artists such as Angel and Wretch 32, ultimately appearing on the BBC Live Lounge. I have also featured on several video game sound tracks. I love to play chamber music and currently play with 2 quarters locally. I also play orchestrally, having led the orchestra at university, and currently co-leading the viola section of the Cambridge Philharmonic.
