Sonare are a renowned a cappella choral quartet, bringing special events to life with a thoughtful selection of timeless and elegant music. We perform with the intimacy of a private performance, while also possessing the vocal power to fill even the grandest of settings. With a wealth of classical, pop, and seasonal repertoire to choose from, we can tailor a unique set to be the perfect accompaniment for you. We sing for weddings, funerals, Christmas parties, and for private engagements - one of our most special events was a surprise pre-wedding concert in a stately home. We travel regularly across the UK, so from Land’s End to John O’Groats, if you’re looking for a great ensemble, we’ll be there. We perform a wide variety of choral music from across centuries and continents, alongside our own arrangements of pop songs. Planning a quiet, candlelit ceremony? Our romantic version of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love” really sets the scene. Want something upbeat and joyful to get your guests in the mood? We recommend our upbeat, funky version of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”! We also offer a bespoke song arranging service, so if there's something else you’d really love for your event, we can bring it to life! If there’s a song that’s meaningful for you, even if it’s never been sung in a choral version before, we can write it. When we’re not singing for events, Sonare perform sophisticated and accessible concerts around the UK. We have been celebrating the joy and power of a cappella choral music since our inception in 2021, lending our signature sound to well-known favourites, hidden gems and everything in between.
