Solène studied in Paris XIII (Maurice Ravel Conservatoire) with Valérie Aimard, then in Boulogne-Billancourt CRR (Regional Conservatoire) with Michel Strauss for two years. She obtained a Bachelor of Music in 2012 from the Royal College of Music with Thomas Carroll. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a Master of Performance with Distinction in Pierre Doumenge’s class. She then pursued an Artist Fellowship there until last July. She has been a member of the OFJ (French youth Orchestra) and NJO (Nederland youth orchestra) for several years, and played with many orchestras since then. Solène participated recently in masterclasses with Lluis Claret, Jens-Peter Maintz, Gary Hoffman and Marko Ylonen, Rebecca Gilliver. She has also performed in several chamber music festivals (ChartrEsivales, Festival Flam', Jazz au fil de l'Oise, Aurora Chamber Music Festival...) She followed Art of Teaching lessons at the Royal College of Music. Inspired by taking part and listening to many masterclasses and music courses and very interested in education she has been teaching in France and England.
