Rapper
London

I am Solar Flight, a rapper from Clerkenwell. I began rapping in 2014 in school because that was the thing to do at the time. However, I grew more ambitious and professional in my approach as the years passed. After years of writing and freestyling at home, I began performing in November 2021 and have now performed nearly 150 times. My career highlights so far would be performing at The Hilton, performing on a boat with Pete Doherty, performing to a giant club crowd amd performing to an intimate crowd in a West End pub. My influences are 2pax, Nas, Ice-T, Grandmaster Caz, and others. I am also a poet and my favourite poets are Wordsworth, Kipling and Swinburne. I have played with bands and can work with people of all genres, both in and out of the studio. I bring a professional and fun approach to everything I do.

Solar Flight delivered a great verse and went above and beyond to ensure that I got one. He worked hard and I'm really thankful for that.

Solar Flight is more than a rapper. He’s a historian of the art form and an educator who thinks that everyone can learn to rap. I’ve watched him interview people, get their story and then coach them into rapping it on stage. He’d be great for any children’s party, and he’d probably be great with the parents too.
