Since the formation of Simply Standards in 2018, the band has performed all around the UK establishing themselves as go-to specialists in tasteful and swinging background jazz. Brought up in the happening London jazz scene, the band’s members are all professional jazz musicians with a wealth of experience and a great list of tunes. From the Great American Songbook to contemporary classics, the group’s repertoire ranges from upbeat swing to romantic ballads, embellished by old favourites and bossa nova to boot. Simply Standards has worked for a growing list of esteemed clients. These range from boutique hotels such as Wingrove House to large scale events at Goodwood racecourse, and numerous private functions at venues such as Home Hose, Soho House, Charleston Farmhouse and many more.
