Simon Williams is one of the very best solo singer/guitarists in the area. He sometimes describes his style as "Acoustic Rock" but he always plays melodic sounds. Perfect for pubs, parties, weddings restaurants he will make any music night go with a swing - or even perfect for relaxing background music. With over twenty years of experience Simon guarantees a standard that few can match and, with a very long list of songs in his repertoire, he can cater for all tastes. Can provide 2 hours of original music or up to 3 hours of great acoustic covers from the 60's to present day. Over 10 years of gigging experience most recently as a resident musician at Francesco's Italian in Maidenhead, and gigs at the 2014 Santander Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, finalist at Hampshire's Festival Factor competition and one of the headline acts at the Berlin Vagabond Festival. Having played for years as a guitarist and behind-the-scenes songwriter for many bands, (with good levels of success including a sell out headline slots at the packed “Sound” nightclub in London’s Leicester Square and international radio play in South Africa) Simon took the step into solo performing in 2008 in fairly daunting way. His first ever solo performance saw Simon take the stage in front of a 2,000 strong audience in Hammersmith, an experience that saw him grow quickly in confidence and set the path for his debut album “40 Miles West” just two years later.
