Simon started his vocal education at the age of 16 at Hereford Sixth Form College and achieved his Grade 8 distinction at the age of 18. He then got accepted onto the BMus (Performance) course at the University of Leeds, where he has consistently achieved firsts in all of his performances. He is about to finish his final year in Leeds and go to start his MMus at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. His operatic repertoire includes HMS Pinafore (Chorus), The Pirates of Penzance (Chorus), The Marriage of Figaro (Figaro), The Magic Flute (Papageno) and The Mikado (Koko). His oratorio repertoire includes Mozart Requiem (Bass), Durufle Requiem (Baritone), Haydn Theresienmesse (Bass), Haydn Missa in Tempore Belli (Bass), Rossini Stabat Mater (Bass) and Bach Magnificat in D (Bass).
