Pianist Simon Jordan

Hello! My name is Simon Jordan - and I am one of the most versatile pianists around. Unlike every other musician on Encore, I can play your choice of music throughout. I won't make you pick from a list (unless you want me to). I also play the violin and am a Royal Academy award-winning musician. I have played both violin and piano age five, and passed my Grade 8 in each with distinction at age 14. Studies at the Royal Academy of Music followed, and a long career as a producer for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 2, and now I make a living doing what I love - performing for weddings, events and business functions across the UK and beyond, including an annual date at the Prime Minister's Christmas party at Chequers. I can play almost any song, on either instrument. One of the joys of being a musician is watching people's faces light up when they hear the music they have requested being performed - so, ignore all those musicians who make you pick from a set list (you'd be better off with an iPad!) and give me your favourite songs and tunes that you would like me to play. It's your day - so make the music match it!
