Hi there! I'm a solo singing guitarist originally from the North-West of England but now based in London. My repertoire includes everything from intimate ceremony moments to upbeat party pleasers, with an optional stomp box feature to add to whichever atmosphere you desire. Since 2019 I have been performing at multiple events all over the UK such as weddings, private functions, pubs and bars. I'm happy to learn any specific song in advance to make the day more personal to you!

Simon was an absolutely amazing singer. I had so many people comment on “where was he from, he was amazing!” I would definitely recommend Simon. He drove all the way from London to North Yorkshire for my husbands 50th so that is dedication My daughter may be booking him for her 21st at Easter if she has a party 🎉🎈 The songs were so good and it really created more of an atmosphere having Simon there singing Wished he could have done another couple of hours as he was so good Thanks Simon x

Simon has performed at several events & venues across the IOM, he is always a hit with all his audiences. He has bags of character, a gorgeous tone, great power and is talented guitar player. We especially love his own song “not like superman”and he belts out some great covers like Mumford and sons …. We can’t wait for his next gig on the IOM.

We booked Simon for our garden wedding and he didn’t disappoint, he was amazing from him setting up so quickly to the incredible performance he gave and everyone there was asking who he was and how good his voice was and people looking him up on Spotify there and then! Grace & Sam

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients like the fact I can adapt to whichever atmosphere you would like to create. From intimate background music or crowd pleasing singalongs. Clients have also said they like hearing the folk twist I can put on a song in a way that you may have not heard it before.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played at all sorts of venues including Portsmouth Guildhall, Glasgow Concert Hall, Liverpool Phase One, Liverpool North Shore Troubadour, Thornton Hough Village Club and many more!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Growing up Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Simon & Garfunkel were massive influences and the reason why I love folk music so much. It's also a big reason why I started to learn guitar.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I recently performed at Celtic Connections in Glasgow and will be performing at the British Country Music Festival in Blackpool later this year.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

With advanced notice I can try my best to be as flexible as possible to suit you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can connect my phone to my PA before and during the break with some background music on if you wish.

How much time do you need to set up?

Between 20-30 minutes just to make sure everything is set up correctly and guitar is in tune. I aim to arrive slightly earlier just to be safe.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes of course just let me know which songs you would like for your event beforehand!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I do! I have my own PA system, all I need is access to a power outlet.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, if you have a specific song you would like to hear then just let us know with enough notice to learn it. There is a fee of £10 per extra song.
