Background/stage jazz quartet for any type of event! Group of 4 students who play high quality jazz music.

Silver Sax are 4 grade 8 standard jazz musicians: Finley Lyall (Bass), Samson Hooper (Keys), Noah Gamble (Sax), and Matthew Jones (Drums). We started as school friends and we began to integrate as a band and develop a wide repertoire of Real Book jazz standards. We became widely known as a group in our school community through performing in concerts and dinners (notably at the Alverton Hotel). With jazz, every performance is unique, and we enjoy the creativity we have while playing it. In this way, we are very flexible within our genre and so can take requests. We look forward to playing for you!

The amount of positive feedback I have received from pupils, staff and parents has been mind blowing. You were the stars of the evening and rightly so. An absolute credit to the music department and I was so pleased that they were able to perform for our guests.

Provided a lovely "lounge" jazz style in the foyer before a concert - the ensemble players blend really nicely and were very flexible with genre.
