Side by Side is a dynamic jazz duo who specialise in putting their own vintage twist on modern pop classics! Mandi & George have been performing together for nearly a decade and bring you jazz and swing music with Mandi on vocals and George playing piano & vocals - Side by Side brings a fresh yet nostalgic approach to every performance. No backing tracks here, everything is created live on stage! They continue to weave their magic with an extensive selection of Jazz Standards as well as arranging their own versions of pop classics from the 70s, 80s, 90s through to today! The name Side by Side comes from the Harry M. Woods song from 1927, which forms part of their jazz standards set. They come complete with their own PA system and are able to use your piano on site or bring their own stage piano - all at no extra cost.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We'll always try to be as flexible as possible! Just let us know!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Very happy to provide this inbetween our sets for free. We can also provide backing music until the venue closes but this will be at the additional cost of £80.

How much time do you need to set up?

We can set up very quickly - we can normally set up and be sound checked within half an hour (depending on how close we can park to performance area)

Can you roam around while you perform?

Due to piano, unfortunately we can't.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have over 150 "ReJazzed" tunes on our setlist. Lets talk them through with you to make it the perfect set for your event!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can but we do charge an additional £30 for each custom song.
