Raised on the music of Tracy Chapman, Joan Armatrading, Joni Mitchell and other songwriting greats, Siân spent her adolescence teaching herself guitar, writing songs and playing in bands. She attended Leeds Conservatoire and has been working as a professional musician ever since. Siân performs regularly with her indie-rock band, as well as performing as a solo artist, and has over 10 years of experience touring and playing at venues and festivals across the UK, alongside the likes of Alex G, Jake Bugg, Rae Morris, Anna Calvi and more. Siân’s music is perfect for the wedding or party of any music lover. Her repertoire is a tasteful selection of classics from songwriting idols of all eras and her set list can be tailored to suit any crowd. We booked Sian in the middle of the Covid19 lockdown - listened to a few of her tracks online and loved her voice. About 6 weeks before our wedding we had a Zoom video call with Sian to discuss our wedding day, she was lovely, so energetic, excited, and professional. We talked through our venue, theme, and what songs we wanted (we asked if she could perform for the ceremony and then afterward during the drinks reception). There were 2 songs not in her repertoire that we asked if she'd be able to perform around our ceremony - she was absolutely fine with this and emailed straight after with Youtube links confirming the songs. On the day she was amazing, her voice is so beautiful and her versions of our songs are perfect, I wish I had them recorded so I could listen back. All our guests loved her performance, a few of them even asking if she had a CD! We can't thank Sian enough for being a part of the magic that was our wedding day, I'd recommend her any day and wish we had another event to ask her to perform at. Thank you again, Sian - you're truly a talent at what you do, from performing to planning with couples - we can't thank you enough and wish you all the best in the future.

Sian sang at our wedding and was amazing. Her voice was just perfect and she sang the songs we selected so beautifully, captivating our guests and family, even reducing my mother to tears (of joy!) with one lovely song? Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change, it is never usually an issue. I usually set up a zoom call with clients around 1 month before their event, where we can go over the finer details of the timings for the day. If anything changes after this point, it's usually fine, I just ask that you get in touch as soon as you can and let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I'm happy to provide a DJ service using my PA kit between sets, and I can either provide a playlist myself, or use a playlist that the client has provided. If you would like me to stay after my set to provide a DJ service, I would add an additional fee that is dependent on timings. I'm happy to chat through what you have in mind!

How much time do you need to set up?

I like to have about 1.5 hours to set up, and tend to arrive about 2 hours before my performance time, to ensure everything is set up in good time and before guests arrive, if possible! If a quick turnaround is needed, I can set up in 30-45 minutes.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! I love to hear which songs on my repertoire are particular favourites (or which songs should be veto’d at all costs!). I do however ask that clients refrain from requesting a full set list of songs - I will write a tailor-made set list for your event (once we have spoken) that is a perfect fit for you and your guests and which I know will flow well.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my guitar, my microphone, my PA kit sound system and all the necessary cables.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I am happy to learn requests, however I do charge an additional £28 to learn a song that is not already in my repertoire, for the time spent learning and rehearsing this new material. There's always a chance I already know it, but don't have it listed!
