About Shuo Pan

Holding a doctoral degree in piano performance. Covering all styles of piano music, either solo repertoires or collaborative ensembles.
Pianist
Durham

I have more than 20 years of performance experience as a professional pianist. I studied piano in China, Russia, United States, and the United Kingdom. I got my doctoral degree in piano performance in 2021. I was awarded honorable mention in the Professional category in the Debut International Piano Competition in 2017. As part of this award, I performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York City and also in the historic Ehrbar Concert Hall in Vienna. I have performed as a solo pianist throughout Europe, the U. S. and China. As an adventurous traveler and music enthusiast, I believe everything is possible in life.

It is one of the finer vocal concerts I have seen in a long time. The repertoire stretched both choirs in a good way. The three musical theater scenes definitely whetted my appetite to see the full show next week. Shuo added her considerable piano skills to the mix too! Thanks for all of your dedication to our students!

"I appreciated that the programming was quite varied, and that the program order flowed so smoothly from one piece to the next. There was something to please everyone. The students performed better than I have ever heard them before, and the intensity of their concentration had me at times on the edge of my seat. Shuo did a lovely accompanying job, and kept just the right pace and volume. We are lucky to have her with us." "I sat next to Carol. Everything she mentions I echo as well. It is one of the finer vocal concerts I have seen in a long time. The repertoire stretched both choirs in a good way. The three musical theater scenes definitely whetted my appetite to see the full show next week. Shuo added her considerable piano skills to the mix too! Thanks for all of your dedication to our students!" From the music faculty and the head of the music department at Pima Community College.

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Guitar yes, but not the piano.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
