What time would you be able to start the DJ and band sets from? Depending on what time your meal finishes and we can get into the room to set up, usually at about 7pm the DJ music will begin. As soon as the room has turned around and we are set up, we play DJ music through our PA (usually to start with, easy listening music and then as the night goes on more upbeat songs, or your favourites can be played straight from your playlist). We take approximately 1 hour 15 mins to set up the band and sound check. We can work with the venue to confirm an exact time for you. How long do you perform for? Show Me Country perform 2 x 60 minute live sets throughout the night. The DJ music is played before and after we perform and up until 12am. We usually try and start our first performance at around 8.30 pm (however, we are very flexible on times and can start whenever you wish). We perform live for 1 hour, usually kicking off with your first dance. Involving your guests in your first dance always gets everyone up and onto the dancefloor, the energy is high and then we keep everyone dancing and having a good time. We try and work around evening food times (and if anything else is going on in the evening – fireworks etc). When guests are eating we prefer to perform after or before this and not during, so more people get a chance to dance and don’t miss all of the fun singing and dancing with the band. Are you flexible on timings at all throughout the evening? Yes we are very flexible on timings and happy to work closely with you on how things will run. We want things to run as smoothly as possible for you and will work together with you and the venue staff to make sure everything goes exactly to plan. For the DJ sets that your band member play, would they be happy to work from a playlist if we created one? Yes absolutely! We are very happy for you to give us a list of your favourite songs/playlist that we can play for you through the night. How open is the band to song requests for their live set? We are very happy to learn your first dance or a special song. If there are songs you see on our track list that you love, then please let us know and we will incorporate them through our set.
