I have an incredibly infectious love for music and. dance.. A born entertainer, I love to play with others but also enjoy the freedom of playing solo to adapt quickly to suit the audience. Born in Cardiff where I lived until I left to travel 20 years ago and to study in London. I have now returned to Wales and play with many wonderful musicians. I play solo at weddings, parties, corporate functions and night clubs. Former founding member of the swing band St Louis Express I now play in a duo with my partner the great guitarist, singer Simon Buck and with our band Buck Shizz. I’ve also depped for a number of bands such as the Soul Miners and Special Brew(Ska). I started on the alto saxophone when I was 9, playing with orchestras, wind bands and jazz bands from a young age. I then began teaching when I was 14 and offer lessons in person as well as online. Over lockdown I was asked to do a number of virtual performances for clients where they got to choose from my varied repertoire. When playing solo I usually use backing tracks and play old jazz classics such as All of me and take 4, rock tracks like Black Magic Woman and Sweet Child of mine, Ibiza Dance Anthems, Mr Saxobeat, Jubel etc. and classical pieces such as Clair de lune love Led Zepellin, I also love to play Latin music such as Samba (Mas Que Nada) and Bossa Nova (Girl from Ipanema) and Electro Swing.
