Whether you want your guests up and dancing, seated and singing along or simply basking in the warmth of mellow background music whilst dining, this band will always bring that special, classic touch through Jazz and Soul music, whatever the size of your venue. Shari, an accomplished singer-songwriter, performs with various line ups of the bands’ full ensemble which includes drums, double or electric bass guitar, piano and vintage keyboard sounds, electric jazz guitar, a solo saxophone, trumpet, or a brilliant brass section; and thanks to their unique sound and versatility, the band are available as a duo, trio, four, five or six piece ensemble. The bands’ set list contains a mix of cool and dynamic songs by great artists such as Etta James, James Brown, Doris Day, Eartha Kitt, Otis Redding, Ella Fitzgerald, Al Green, Peggy Lee, Nina Simone and Frank Sinatra...to name just a few. Also in the bands’ repertoire are songs by world renowned, contemporary performers such as Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse. But whoever the artist and whichever the song or the occasion, Shari will bring a simultaneously deep and high, smooth and raw vocal that digs down for the truth and reaches high for the hope and always delivers the emotion to match the lyrics in the song.
