We are Shanvaghera, a traditional Irish folk band in Bristol. We play pure-drop foot-tapping Irish music. We met playing on the Bristol Irish session scene, and found a common love of the less-commonly played Irish tunes, played with lift and lilt.

Shanvaghera are the real deal - high-class Irish folk music. I booked them again for our street party, and they were excellent as always!

We booked Shanvaghera to play in our Saturday night slot, and they were brilliant. Wonderful music, great energy - they got everybody up and dancing! We will definitely be booking them again.
