The most popular line up is the 6 piece band which features both lead female and male vocals along with saxophone, and with this they can perform a wide mix of musical styles from jazz and swing, to lounge, pop, soul and even rock.. always keeping up to date with current chart hits Last Dynasty was founded in 2005 by lead vocalist Abi Gilchrist and features a core of London’s most sought after musicians from backgrounds in Jazz - having performed at venues such as Ronnie Scott's and The Jazz Cafe, Swing - having played with some of the UK's top Big Bands, and Pop and Soul - having performed with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone and Ronan Keating. Last Dynasty band have performed across the UK and abroad for some of the most high profile corporate clients such as Virgin Media, Visa, Hotel Chocolat and the Maclaren F1 team, and for celebrities such as Ronan Keating, Jenson Button and Gorbachov! They are also recommended for their quality and professionalism at a number of top venues in London and the Home Counties and have played at hundreds of weddings and private events across the country with 100% positive feedback. Last Dynasty can be fronted by male or female vocals, ideally both for the full repertoire to be performed. This can also include saxophone or when subtle background music is required in one of the smaller ensembles, saxophone can take the lead instead of vocals for an instrumental line up. The band comes complete with full sound system and lighting to suit the event and professional mixed music in between sets so that the whole event’s entertainment is covered.
