Scott and The Standards performed during our drinks reception and wedding breakfast and we were blown away by them! All of our guests commented on how they were the perfect addition to our wedding and they even got people up dancing during the drinks reception! The lead singer Lucinda is extremely organised, very lovely to deal with, progressional and flexible in her approach. They performed the exact songs we wanted and they were simply stunning!

We hired Scott and The Standards to perform at our wedding in June last year. They performed during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast and were incredible! So many of our guests commented on what incredible musicians they were and they really created the perfect atmosphere for these parts of the day. They performed songs we had requested and the mix of jazz and postmodern jukebox really meant there was something for all ages to enjoy. I would highly recommend them! Thank you Scott and The Standards for making our wedding day so special.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes absolutely! Scott and The Standards is run by the lead singer Lucinda. We strive to make sure the line-up you see in the videos is what you get on the night, but we do have ‘dep’ musicians in case any of the instrumentalists fall ill or are unavailable. All of our players are the highest standard.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: vocals/piano, vocals/guitar, vocals/piano/bass, vocals/guitar/bass.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Unfortunately we don’t.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually need 1 to 1.5 hours to set up.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests have an amazing time. However, we’re definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes all of our equipment is included in the quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn’t included in our song list, it is likely it might be one we already know. If there is a special song you’d like us to learn (that we don’t already know) we are happy to do this. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
