Scooty and the Skyhooks

I am the promoter of the Riverside Rock music festival in the Scottish Borders. The festival has run successfully for the past five years and have had top acts like Big Country, The Sweet, The Hoosiers, The Blow Monkeys, From The Jam etc. Scooty and the Skyhooks have played at Riverside Rock three times due to public demand. Tha band put on a polished show with outstanding musicians with the lead singer being up there with the best. For me they have been one of the main crowd pullers and such is their popularity many have said that they should be headlining the festival. Do you like good music ? If yes, and in particular really really good ( sweet soul ) music, then Scooty and the Skyhooks 8is the band for you. Each and every time I've seen them perform and used them for our events they've got the energy high and the audience engaged from the first note to the last. You can tell that every member of the band just love performing and spend a lot of time crafting their skills. The lead singer is a master frontman, full of energy, engages with the audience and is an excellent vocalist. The female vocalist adds some extra soul and plenty sensuality to their performance. This combined with passionate and obvious talented musicians creates an experience that does justice to the 'soul' experience. As well as being great performers they've always been a pleasure to work with and always been utmost professionals.

Scooty and the Skyhooks have worked with LCC Events at a few of our concerts as support act for major bands such as Jools Holland etc. They were very professional in their approach and were very well received by our audience and sounded great. We would not hesitate to recommend them to other event organisers or band management agencies or to recruit them again for events of our own.

Scooty and the Skyhooks have played at several private functions and corporate events in the large hotel under my management. They are fantastic lively band who have a totally professional attitude in dealing with bookings, timings etc. They are very pleasant and easy to deal with and once onstage will put on a great performance, engage the crowd all evening, guaranteeing that everyone of all age groups will have a fantastic night to remember.
