Saturday in Space

Both Helen and Mark are DJs but Helen is a professional singer and Mark is a drummer/percussionist with a long history in the business. Specialising in Soul, Funk and Disco, we can also bring 80s or 90s sets, and our main set has some modern nods too — with covers from Olivia Dean, Jungle and Sienna Spiro among others. We can bring a party set made up of all our genres, and we can learn new songs on request — if it means something to you, we'll add it in. Expect medleys and mash-ups, a few surprises along the way, and then we can take your party to the max, or hold a DJ request session. Mark is also likely to keep those congas rolling into the night while on the (virtual) wheels of steel. Fits any space Saturday in Space can operate with a footprint to accommodate smaller spaces — like restaurants (eating music a speciality) to the full festival stage. We play for: Pubs/ Clubs Weddings Anniversaries Birthdays Engagements Awards ceremonies Sporting events Product launches Corporate events Festivals House parties Balls & galas Samhain Holiday parks Alien invasions ...and any other general service you want us for. Our sound Whether jazzy, funky, poppy or straight up dance music, we can bring the energy or the calm. Or both! Want more?
