Sarah Widdup

Hi, I’m Sarah Widdup, a singer and guitarist from Yorkshire. I offer a down-to-earth approach, playing a mix of contemporary acoustic covers and old favourites that get everyone on their feet—whatever their age! Over the years, I’ve built a loyal following across Yorkshire and beyond with my blend of pop, country, and rock influences, from Jackie Wilson to Dasha. I’ve been lucky enough to perform at incredible venues, including UEFA Champions League stadiums like Old Trafford, Wembley, and Stamford Bridge, as well as events like the Tour de France, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and Bingley Music Live (four years in a row!). I also love entertaining at KWVR events, beer festivals, and gin festivals, and I even had the honour of performing for Princess Anne at the opening of Sunbridgewells in Bradford. In 2023, I was thrilled to work as a backing singer for Michelle John in Derren Brown’s live stage show The Showman. Whether I’m playing at a local pub, a festival, or a special event, I’m passionate about connecting with audiences and creating unforgettable musical moments.
