Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I think clients enjoy being transported back to a vintage era whether that's the 1920s, 1930s or old Hollywood. I also have a carefully crafted setlist that includes classic swing and jazz songs that everyone enjoys, but also more modern pop songs with a vintage twist that always surprise an audience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Quaglinos, The Savoy, The Four Seasons London, Bahrain and Casablanca, The Sheraton

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Amy Winehouse, Imelda May

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Performing on The Voice UK with my vocal harmony group Belle Noir in front of coaches will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Meghan Trainor and Olly Murs was very exciting! Besides that, it was an honour to perform for Prince Edward at Windsor Castle with my jazz band in 2019.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know and it shouldn't be a problem.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. I can offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

Not much time at all. If it's just a solo performance with backing tracks – approximately 30 minutes.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes, absolutely! You can go through my set list and let me know your favourite numbers and I will try to include as many of them that work with the overall set-list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I am self-contained with a PA and vintage microphone!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I can learn one song for free. Each song takes about 3-4 hours to learn, depending on level of difficulty so the first one is free and after that it's £50 per song.
