Originally from Lewes East Sussex, Sarah first took up the Bassoon at the age of 11 during an instrument introductory evening held at the school. She then went on to study Music and Music Technology at Sussex Downs College to enhance her knowledge and experience with music. In 2013, she was accepted into the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama to study under Meyrick Alexander, Dave Buckland and Steve Marsden. 4 years later, she was accepted into the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London to study under Daniel Jemison (LSO), Helen Storey (RPO) and Dominic Morgan (LSO). Sarah now currently freelances in London and throughout the UK, and has performed with orchestras such as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, London Chamber Orchestra, New London Orchestra, Novello Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, Guildhall Session Orchestra, and Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a music tutor for Wandsworth Music and private teacher for bassoon and recorder.
