About Sarah

Violinist
Dublin
Public liability insurance of £€6.5million Euros million

I'm a Professional Musician from Dublin, who's been in the music industry for over 20 years. I play as a Soloist or with any size group for Wedding Ceremonies, Drinks Receptions, Dinner entertainment, Corporate Events and Private Parties. Growing up in a musical home, I started playing Violin at age 6, studying Classical Violin and Traditional Irish Fiddle, which led to an opportunity to tour the world as a professional Violinist, performing with some of Ireland's best entertainers, in my early career. I've played on the Irish Folk Scene for over 20 years and regularly collaborate with original artists at home and abroad for live performances at festivals, events & recording sessions. I became a Professional Musician and Educator after obtaining my N.U.I. Music Degree and a ABRSM Diploma in Instrumental Teaching. I love teaching different musical styles to students of all ages, and enjoy teaching in a positive way, to bring out the best in students and help them become confident performers. I perform as a multi-genre session musician for studio recordings and have recorded on many albums and soundtracks for various artists and producers. I've played some of Ireland's biggest festivals such as the Electric Picnic, appeared on The Late Late Show and can't wait to get on the road again. I'm working on my own album which is set for release mid-2026.

Sarah played the violin so beautifully for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception.❤️ From the beginning she was so kind and easy to work with, I was very indecisive about which song to go with for the walk down the aisle, I had several top picks and yet Sarah was so patient and recorded and sent me the video of her playing for every song and was quick to get back. On the day itself, everything went so smoothly, she arrived on time, set up everything herself, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She just played beautifully and made the whole process effortless for us, would highly recommend her to anyone!✨

I grew up listening to Folk Music, pop hits and also artists such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, U2, Oasis, The Fugees, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins and lots of Classical Artists like Yehudi Menuin, Stephane Grapelli and Django Reinhardt. Most influenced by my first teacher, Violinist John Fitzpatrick from Belfast who sadly passed away a few years ago.

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically and any othe equipment as required.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There may be a fee for this depending on the complexity of the request and how many instruments are involved, taking into account rehearsal times etc.
