Sophisticated singer/pianist and classical solo pianist available for any events. London based but willing to travel almost anywhere!

Sarah Kershaw is a professional pianist and singer who has been bringing a touch of class to many weddings, events, and lounge bars in the UK and abroad for the past 8 years. A versatile musician, she is a classically trained pianist having acheived a first class honours degree from Birmingham Conservatoire, which means she can not only provide elegant piano music on it's own, but can also use her piano skills as a sensitive and dextrous accompaniment to her sweet and soulful vocals. Her training also enables Sarah to play a broad range of musical styles from classical and jazz to rock and pop ensuring every taste is catered for. During her career so far Sarah has played in a wide variety of venues. She has been resident at hotels such as The Ritz and The Melia White House in London, and in restaurants such as The Criterion in Piccadilly and various UK branches of The Living Room and Pizza Express. She has also performed on numerous years at a VIP tent for Wimbledon Tennis championship. Through impressing her audiences during these performances Sarah has been booked to do many weddings and events, both corporate and private, and she enjoys the more personal touch she can bring to these occasions. Clients are invited to suggest any songs in advance that they would like to hear Sarah play and she can even set a personal poem to music if you wish, as she is also an avid composer!

Sarah was just great. We run a pub with two outdoor areas, we had BBQ going, kids play are/bouncy castle. Outdoor area was busy and we placed Sarah right in the thick of it. She was very pleasant, engaged well with the customers and sang beautifully, and of course played keyboard brilliantly. She was so good the customers even had a collection for her :-). She is defo worth booking, and we will be using her again soon.

A welcome return by Sarah to sing and play for www.londonlodge.org.uk after dinner. She has a lovely voice, is an excellent pianist, has a better-than-most sound system and a friendly and confident manner. She also learned some requests we had asked for. What’s not to love? We have booked her again for next year. (10 / 10)
