Sarah Ann Reé is a 24 year old folk/indie-inspired singer-songwriter from Belfast, Northern Ireland. With a captivating voice and a knack for heartfelt storytelling, Sarah's music takes listeners on a journey through her personal experiences and reflections.Sarah draws inspiration from her musical influences, including Joni Mitchell, Adrianne Lenker, and The Weather Station, to create a captivating blend of folk-infused melodies , interesting chord progressions in alternate tunings and introspective lyrics. Having resided in vibrant music cities such as London, Glasgow, and Bristol, Sarah has immersed herself in diverse musical landscapes, honing her craft and enriching her artistic perspective. Sarah is releasing her debut EP, “Life In Pink” at the end of May and is currently writing an album funded by Youth Music Next Generation, which she was awarded in January 2024! In just 14 months, she has emerged as a prominent artist in Bristol, headlining venues like The Louisiana and The Exchange, earning a spot on the Dot2Dot Festival lineup in 2023, and performing at various Sofar Sounds shows across the UK. Just recently Sarah has made her BBC Introducing debut and been played on BBC Radio Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Somerset. Trained as a classical cellist, Sarah seamlessly incorporates this expertise into her music.
