Salvatore Samaritano, leader of Sarabanda, is a singer-songwriter, musician, performer, architect, and art teacher. In 1993, he was a regional finalist in the “Sanremo Famosi” contest. In 1994, he won the “Sanremo Nuovi Talenti” contest, earning the release of an album played on national radio and gaining attention from the organizing committee of the 45th Sanremo Festival. The “Sanremo Music and Show” label presented the singer-songwriter for the “Sanremo Giovani” selections. “Convergenze” is his first official album, co-produced and arranged by Roberto Mezzatesta, pianist and arranger of the songs performed by the Sarabanda group.
