Sara Hawkes is a local Jazz Blues singer living in Peterborough. originally from Blackpool she trained as a classical singer with Nick Powell from the RNCM and continues to study voice with him along with top jazz teachers such as Brigitte Beraha. After bring up her two children she returned to performing deciding to sing Jazz/Blues standards and write her own compositions. Sara has performed at the Cambridge Jazz Festival in 2016 and 17 and has given a number of concerts around the Peterborough area accompanied by Ivan Garford on piano and various gigs which have been very well received.

Hi Martin and Sara What a fantastic night yesterday. I can't thank you enough. Everybody said what a brilliant time they all had. It wouldn't have been possible without you generously giving up your time, and talent. I hope you both enjoyed the evening and if it leads to you getting bookings in future that would be brilliant. I know James enjoyed it ( apart from the photo shoot) . It's always good to leave the audience wanting more and lots of people asked when we're doing it again?
