Santi Lowe

Born on New Year’s Eve, 1997, in Nottingham, UK, Santiago Lowe currently lives in London and works as principal cellist with the Ars Combinatoria association, Madrid, Spain, offering regular concerts of baroque and contemporary music. He frequently attends Early Music courses at the University of Salamanca, where Hiro Kurosaki, Itxiar Atutxa, Pedro Gandía and Andoni Mercero teach, amongst others. He has received classes from Suzana Stefanovic, Aldo Mata, and has participated in projects with international soloists. He is part of the JOSS, Madrid and has collaborated in different national youth orchestras and early music chamber projects. He has competed his Music degree in interpretation in Baroque Cello at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid, with José Manuel Hernández as a teacher. Santiago has made several music recordings, including television projects such as televisioncommercials and soundtracks such as "La entrega" and films with Nico Casal, composer, withwhom he has performed in several concerts. Santiago has recently performed as a soloist at venues such as the Teatro Jovellanos and theReal Oratorio Caballero de Gracia, Madrid. He was Cello teacher at the Monteverdi Conservatory from September 2021 to 2022 andat "La fábrica de música" from 2021 to the present.
