Few pianists can have enjoyed such a colourful and cosmopolitan musical career as Sandra Lambert. It is her ability to move freely from one genre to the next that distinguishes her from other pianists. You can expect to hear a repertoire mix of Show Songs, Film Themes, Popular Classics, Syncopated Novelty Pieces, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Soul Contemporary Pop and Bollywood - there's something for everyone! Sandra has played for The Royal Family at Buckingham Palace and was chosen to play for the Duchess of York's surprise 60th Birthday Party at Royal Lodge. She has also played at No. 10 Downing Street for former Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Sandra has performed and recorded with artists such as Bette Midler, Humphrey Lyttleton, Cilla Black, Paul O’Grady, The London Symphony Orchestra. A sought after accompanist, Sandra was Musical Director to Helen Shapiro throughout the 1990’s with whom she toured extensively, appeared on CD’s and TV shows and penned the musical arrangements. Sandra has played at Britain’s most prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall. She has performed or held residencies at The Waldorf Hotel, Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, Goring Hotel, Grosvenor House Hotel, The Savoy, The Royal Garden, London Hilton, The Dorchester and Claridges. As a recording artist, Sandra's debut ‘Too Late Now’, in collaboration with guitarist Mike Eaves was released in 2002. Her touring show "The Anthony Newley Story" with vocalist Garth Bardsley produced the album ‘A Portrait of Anthony Newley’. With her own 10 Piece band - Simply Swing - Sandra released "Dance Floor Delights" in 2023 which specialises in Strictly Come Dancing repertoire. Sandra continues to work at the highest level in a variety of musical areas which include studio sessions, television, live concerts, shows and solo performances. In conjunction with her solo career, Sandra is the pianist and musical director of one of the UK’s most highly acclaimed swing bands – Simply Swing.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

That's absolutely no problem, we can refine the timings as and when you know them.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I can provide background music before, in between and after my performance at no extra charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually am set up within 30 minutes but will arrive at your venue at least 1.5 hours before the performance time.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes of course.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely. You can also request songs that are not on my set list and I will be happy to learn them for you provided I have enough notice.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes I can supply a digital stage keyboard and a baby grand piano shell to give the keyboard the look of a real grand piano!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes.
