With over a decade of working in theatre, Sandra is at home in a wide variety of styles and genres. She is highly experienced in directing performances both with a baton and from the keyboard. Sandra is an Associate Lecturer of Singing at Performers College, Birmingham. Sandra is an exceptional Musical Director, well liked by the young cast and adult creative teams she works with. Her recent work on ‘SIX: Teen Edition’ resulted in stellar performances with fantastic feedback from audiences - the harmonies, the riffs and the solos she helped craft were sublime. She always pushes the team to be the best that they can be in a fun and enthusiastic way and it yields fantastic results. As a producer and director, I know I don’t need to worry about the music when I have Sandra on board. When we announce each show our cast always ask “will Sandra be doing this one?” and the levels of excitement in the room once I say “yes” speaks volumes.

It was a pleasure to work with Sandra on our 2023 production of Sister Act The Musical. Sandra worked wonders in teaching us up to 8 part harmonies and gave the cast huge confidence in being able to achieve high notes they never thought possible! Sandra’s vibrant energy lifted the whole production and we are delighted she is working with us again on our next production.
