Hi, I’m Sam. I grew up in Nottinghamshire after moving there age 5. I began learning music at the age of 6, starting with piano lessons. I could never settle on a single instrument however, which lead me to taking up lessons on numerous instruments. I finally settled on the bass guitar when I got to secondary school. I achieved my grade 8 in my first year of sixth form. I got accepted into the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire In 2017 to study jazz, where I began learning the double bass. I have a passion for most genres and have a very broad listening spectrum. I’m also a self taught guitarist.
