Samuel Marde Mehdiabad

I have been active as a deputizing organist in the London, Bristol and Oxford areas since 2015. I was the regular organist at a church in the East End of London for three years from 2012, after which I was the Dame Monica Wills Chapel Organ Scholar at the University of Bristol until 2017. I currently sing as a deputy in three London choirs for regular events and annual cathedral visits, as well as holding a choral scholarship at the University of Oxford. Some large projects I have directed include the provision of music for the annual festivals of a well-known church guild, as well as a number of recitals and concerts in London and Bristol. I have particular interests throughout the music of the mid-17th. - early-20th. Centuries, organ-building, and church liturgy. I attempt to balance my musical life with my work as a graduate student in ancient history.
