She has performed at hundreds of events and weddings all over Cardiff and South Wales (and sometimes even over in sunny England). After graduating from Cardiff University School of Music she was offered a Residency at the Hilton Cardiff, from 2014-2016. She continues her career; performing regularly for audiences of all varieties. She is wonderfully gifted with a witty and thrilling performance style and personality. Audiences of all ages enjoy her incredible virtuosity and talent. Her album 'The Only Song In My Heart Is For You' has been heard on BBC Radio 3's Jazz Now programme and her one woman show of the same name was critically acclaimed during it's run in 2018 and revival in 2019 and helped pave the way for her work at The Sherman Theatre (2021) and Wales Millennium Centre (2023) with the National Theatre Wales supported ‘Sam Hickman Variety Hour’.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Sam. You were amazing on our wedding day everyone was raving about you. Before I walked in the wedding coordinator turned to me and asked "were you away aware of any music changes etc" and I knew with absolute confidence that you would be. You were quick to respond to all of our emails and even got excited about sitting up on the balcony of the venue. The songs we chose you played beautifully and even managed to pull together the most amazing version of clocks and canon when we were still deciding what we wanted. Thank you so much I would recommend you 100%

Very flexible, as long as it's still the same day it should be absolutely no problem.

How much time do you need to set up?

An Hour before, just to let the harp settle into the space.
